I pride myself on being curious, creative and collaborative, and thrive on getting inspired and inspiring others. I enjoy brainstorming, and using design thinking to solve complex problems and delivering solutions that meet business goals.
Welcome! I’m Eliana Rose Southworth, a designer and writer, blending strategy and creativity to help brands tell their stories, elevate their visual presence, and engage with their audiences.
With two decades of experience as an award-winning art director and lead graphic designer, with a background in non-profit marketing and development, I bring a diverse skill set to every project. My work spans print, digital, video, packaging, built environments, events, and creating meaningful brand identities. Combining design expertise with strategic communication, I enjoy leading mission-driven projects and creating powerful educational experiences.
My career has spanned industries including Museums, Zoos, Visitor Centers, Non-Profit, Higher Education, Sustainability, Architecture, Engineering, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Health & Wellness. I currently work part-time as a communications manager for Clal - The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, where I help craft compelling visual and written content.
I’m also writing a hybrid memoir, Healing by Design. This book explores my personal journey of healing through creativity, design, motherhood and Judaism after a near-fatal stroke, and how creativity and design can serve as powerful tools for recovery and transformation.
When I’m not working, you can find me teaching my two young daughters how to bake, garden, and explore their own creativity. I live in Providence, RI with my family, and in my downtime, I love writing and binge-watching British TV shows.
